Part-Time Weekend & Summer Waldorf Teacher Education Program

This Rudolf Steiner College program offers students a new option for part-time Waldorf teacher education in both the Sacramento and San Francisco Bay area.

Weekend-Summer Teacher Education Program

Through a combination of courses taken on weekends from September-May for two years, with additional summer sessions for three years, and independent study, a student can complete requirements for certification in Waldorf education—Early Childhood, Grades 1-8 or High School. Summer sessions are three weeks each for the first two summers. For the third year, the summer session is five weeks.

Across North America there is growing interest in Waldorf education with the number of Waldorf schools expected to double within the next decade. This expansion is resulting in an increasing demand for trained teachers from independent Waldorf schools and also from public charter schools seeking to implement aspects of the Waldorf approach in their classrooms.
